I've seen proto g scouts with 700+ armour who still run faster than most assaults but if you go that way you will need rep hives or a logi to heal you or you could have less armour for a few reps

At the moment the fotm is the minmitar scout if you want to follow that path but I agree with the other posters Oh and stay away from the logi, they all suck ass
